Content Bloom is a close-knit international company with the headquarters based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. We’re an enterprise consulting agency who works for big name clients (we’re not the type to name drop but think "known names" and fortune 500s) using our expertise to build applications and integrate them with enterprise Content Management Systems (primarily RWS Tridion, Sitecore, and AEM).


We are currently looking for a Technical Consultant to assist our structured content practice.


Qualifications - What you need to get the job:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP), in Java or similar language
  • Experience in data structures and algorithms
  • Understanding of SQL databases
  • Comfortable within small to medium size teams, internally or integrated with client(s)
  • Understanding of architecture and infrastructure (e.g. distributed, scaled-out systems using cloud services like AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
  • Good grasp of build tools such as Maven and Gradle
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to pick up new technologies quickly
  • Knowledge/experience working in an Agile environment using JIRA
  • Canadian Citizenship or authorization to work within Canada
  • Passport or the ability to obtain one for potential work in the US
  • Passion for what you do
